In 2019, the Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce Agri-Business Committee began a program to support the Junior Fair Livestock auction to help connect area businesses with the agriculture community. We’re happy to continue the tradition this year as the Agri-Business Committee is once again putting together buyer groups to bid on animals during the Hancock County Fair’s signature event.

What does this mean? By pooling together resources from several businesses and organizations we can bid on animals raised by the hard working junior fair members in Hancock County. The money they receive helps them pay for the animals to bring to future fairs, equipment to help raise their animals, and set aside money for college.

Donations are tax-deductible. If you donate $100 your business or organization will receive recognition during the junior fair any time the Chamber group wins an auction. We’ll have a representative on hand to handle the bidding for our group, so you don’t need to attend the auction. It’s a great way to support the area agricultural community and get involved with the Hancock County Fair at the same time.

If you have any questions, please contact Doug Jenkins at 567-429-7076 or email djenkins@findlayhancockchamber.com

Thank you for your support of the Hancock County agricultural community!
