Position Summary:   The Vice President of Operations is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving operational excellence, scalability, and sustained performance across a multi-site network. This role blends strategic vision with hands-on execution to deliver strong financial outcomes, optimize supply chain performance, and build a high-performing, accountable culture.

The VP of Operations partners closely with the CEO and senior leadership to translate business strategy into operational results—ensuring alignment across locations, elevating team performance, and positioning the organization for long-term growth.


Areas of Impact

  • Lead and scale operations across multiple locations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and performance
  • Drive end-to-end supply chain optimization, including demand planning, inventory strategy, and fulfillment
  • Champion a data-driven operating model with clear KPIs, dashboards, and accountability at every level
  • Build and lead high-performing teams, including direct leadership of Warehouse & Logistics
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and cost-to-serve
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Marketing to align operational capabilities with business demand
  • Lead strategic initiatives and enterprise-wide projects tied to company growth objectives
  • Strengthen supplier relationships and sourcing strategies, including international engagement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics within manufacturing and/or distribution
  • Deep expertise in inventory management across high-SKU environments (including slotting methodologies)
  • Strong experience with SIOP/IBR processes and demand planning frameworks
  • Proven track record of driving operational improvements and delivering measurable business results
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced data analysis
  • Working knowledge of Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing teams in a multi-site environment
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support operations and supplier partnerships

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a culture aligned with company Cornerstones and Core Values, focused on growth, collaboration, and performance
  • Lead all Manufacturing Operations across TRG, and implement improvement activities to support achieving financial goals
  • Work closely with Sales to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction based on:   On time delivery, Product Quality, and Innovation
  • Improve inter-company inventory flow and ordering systems to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Establish transparent performance metrics and reporting to drive accountability and continuous improvement
  • Advance Lean initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency
  • Partner with business unit leadership to deepen understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes
  • Lead strategic and cross-functional projects aligned with the company’s annual plan
