Job Description:

            The Senior Production Supervisor directs and manages production operations, following and enforcing Safety and Quality standards

Primary Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage plant operations for production and all production Team Members
• Coordinate Plant production to meet customer demand efficiently
• Assist Engineering Team Manager with the develop and control of plant manning budget
• Monitor overall plant production performance
• Control and minimize labor overtime
• Assist Engineering Team Manager and Quality Team Manager with maintain existing plant facilities and equipment
• Provide leadership and training to production supervisors, team leaders and production team members for continuous improvements towards accomplishing the company goals and objectives
• Assist Engineering Team Manager and Quality Team Manager in maintaining preventative maintenance programs working with plant maintenance team
• Drive 6S organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel
• Provides direction, development and leadership to plant supervisors
• Follow and lead all employees in plant environmental health and safety policies.  Leader in maintaining a safe work environment for all employees and follow and comply with all Integrated Management System procedures, standards, and regulations

Years of Experience:

3 years manufacturing experience in a leadership role

Degree Preferred:

Bachelors in Engineering or Manufacturing

Desired Competencies, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Plant operation experience in supervision
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Able to interface effectively with all departments, plant leadership and customers
• Automotive Assembly experience preferred required
• Plastic Injection Molding experience preferred
• Strong computer skills of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word

Special Requirements (i.e. Overtime, Travel, etc.):

               Some travel may be required, 5% or less
