On the Search:
We are on the search for a unique individual to join our team. We are a small family-owned trucking company based in Findlay, OH. We haul freight that delivers in the surrounding states as well as to the East Coast. We have been operating for over 35 years and have drivers who have been around half of that time or more. We are very proud of what we do for an industry that has always been underappreciated, pre and post Covid. We tackle each duty and obstacle with professionalism and in an environment of trust, collaboration, and zero drama.
Our Need:
Our current need is in the office for a Logistics Coordinator. The scope of work consists of building upon existing relationships with customers and establishing new ones, building loads into our dispatching software and issuing them to drivers, providing real-time status updates to our customers, sourcing new loads and matching the right routes to the right drivers (based on their personality, preference, and equipment types), answering phone inquiries for drivers and customers alike, putting out the occasional fire, and laughing together because life is better with big smiles.

The right individual will consider themselves eager to learn and hard charging, all while giving themselves room to learn and grow. They are a self-starter, taking the initiative to work collaboratively to determine solutions as the needs arise. Transportation industry experience is required. It will take an average of 1-2 months for someone to learn how we operate and achieve an understanding of our operations. Job Responsibilities Include (Not Limited To):
· Communicating Real-Time Information to Drivers, Customers, and Brokers (Phone, Email, Text)
· Use the load board platform to discover and book available loads that fit our need
· Inputting Load Information from Inception to Completion in Dispatch Software
· Load Scheduling & Driver Assigning
· Processing Invoices
· Verifying information for payroll
· Updating Customer Web-based Applications
· Updating Relevant Excel Spreadsheets

· Knowing our driver’s by name and knowing what equipment they are assigned to
· Communicating effectively and timely to all parties involved in each load
· Scheduling loads based on driver preference and available hours of service
· Inputting data with precision into dispatching software
· Prioritizing tasks correctly and executing them
· Formulating solutions to both simple and complex puzzles
· Recognizing occasional mistakes and putting safeguards in place to prevent them from reoccurring

Work Schedule:
· This is a Monday – Friday position, 8:00am – 5:00pm, with rotating every 4th Saturday in the office 8:00am – 12:00pm and on call

Pay and Benefits:
· $17-21 Per Hour (Depending on Experience)
