Is stress good or bad? It’s both! 

Stress is a daily occurrence that can become problematic without intentional interventions. Join the Findlay Young Professionals as we hear from Amber Wolfrom about how to identify signs and symptoms of stress, along with simple self-care techniques that can be implemented into daily routines and information regarding local resources available for behavioral health concerns.

About Our Speaker: Amber Wolfrom is Family Resource Center’s Adult Prevention Specialist. She completed her undergraduate work at The University of Toledo and her Masters at The University of Findlay. She has been an Ohio Certified Prevention Consultant since 2002. Amber has spent most of her career in behavioral health administration promoting evidence-based prevention strategies, assisting with Hancock County’s Recovery Oriented System of Care (ROSC) transformation, educating about trauma-informed care approaches and working with behavioral health agencies to create measurable outcomes that prove prevention works, treatment is effective, and people do recover. Amber lives in Findlay with her husband, Eric and daughter, Nyla. She spends a great deal of time with her extended family in her hometown of Fostoria and at Gem Beach on Catawba.
