MEMBER HOSTED EVENT: The Outlook for the North American Economy

MEMBER HOSTED EVENT: The Outlook for the North American Economy

Thursday, October 29, 2020 (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

In March of this year, the United States and Canadian governments shut down the economy, non-essential businesses and shut-in consumers in an attempt to slow the spread of COVID-19. Fast forward to today. The Canadian economy has made an unexpectedly strong comeback, while it is likely that the United States won’t return to levels of economic activity, seen before the pandemic, until 2022.

On behalf of GBQ and Euler Hermes, you’re invited to join GBQ’s Director, Tax & Business Advisory Services Kaz Unalan and Euler Hermes’s Chief Economist Dan North as they discuss the progression and forecast of the North American economies throughout the pandemic, including:

  • North American economy’s greatest risks
  • Impacts on the United States and Canadian economies if COVID-19 makes a drastic return
  • What to expect through the remainder of 2020 and into 2021

This webinar qualifies for 1.0 hour of CPE based on Ohio CPE requirements.
