Small Business Workshop: Preparing for the Holiday Season

Small Business Workshop: Preparing for the Holiday Season

Wednesday, August 10, 2022 (8:30 AM - 9:30 AM) (EDT)

Description

Now is the time to prepare to be ready to maximize sales and profits this holiday season! There are opportunities for all retailers to put more money inside their cash register tills this time of year rather than leaving $20’s, $50’s and even $100’s lying on the sidewalk.

Retailers will learn:

  • Pre-Holiday marketing to build your shoulder season
  • Hiring and training seasonal employees
  • Understanding your “Holiday Shopper”
  • Holiday windows that pull people inside the store
  • Maximize your Holiday merchandise assortment
  • In-season marketing to increase foot traffic.

In addition, Anne Cole, business advocate in merchant services, will be discussing how to gain cash flow for holiday buying and making sure your credit card processing is in tip top shape. Let's make this holiday season the most profitable one for your business!
